Mobile veterinary care that fits real life.
Threadgold Veterinary Services provides mobile veterinary care across Adelaide for pets who need care at home. We help with routine health checks, vaccinations, illness consultations, skin and ear problems, arthritis and mobility concerns, medication reviews, senior pet care, palliative support, and gentle end-of-life care.
Our visits are designed to be clear, kind, and useful. We take time to understand what is happening, explain what matters, and build a plan that fits the pet, the home, the budget, and the goal of care.
Why home visits?
Less stress
Many pets show you more of the real picture when they are not already distressed by transport, noise, restraint, and the clinic environment.
More context
Home visits make it easier to understand the pet’s day-to-day life, mobility, routine, and the practical constraints the family is actually working with.
Clearer explanations
There is room to talk properly. Owners are left understanding what the issue likely is, what to watch for, and what the next step is meant to achieve.
What we offer
Good veterinary care that is useful, honest, and proportionate.
We take the time to understand your pet’s health, your home situation, your goals, your budget, and what is realistically manageable for your household. Every family is different, and good care should be considerate of the people doing the caring as well as the animal receiving it.
That means clear explanations, practical options, and advice about where your money, time, and energy are best spent. Sometimes the right plan is further testing or referral. Sometimes it is comfort care, medication, monitoring, or making changes at home.
Our aim is not to do more for the sake of doing more, but to help you make the best decision for your pet in the context of your real life.
-
General medical visits, preventive care, skin and ear problems, mobility concerns, puppy and kitten checks, and second-opinion style appointments where the main thing missing has been a plain answer.
-
Chronic itch, recurring ear disease, older-pet review, medication adjustments, and continuity-focused care where we are invested in the long term outcome.
The aim is to build and maintain a plan that is useful, realistic, and manageable at home, and make changes when things don’t work.
-
Thoughtful conversations about comfort, daily burden, realistic options, and home euthanasia when that becomes the kindest decision, without pressure or performative certainty.
-
For some situations, what people need first is help understanding urgency, watching the right things, and deciding whether the next move is home support, a visit, or immediate emergency care.

Dr Gypsy Entriken
Dr Gypsy has grown up in South Australia and has moved around the Barossa Valley and mid-north throughout her childhood. She has a love for all animals, growing up with dogs and cats, working with horses as a stablehand, showing cattle and sheep through high school, and has always had a soft spot for native wildlife. She grew up with the dream of being a veterinarian and has never shied away from a challenge. She studied Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience), and the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine programs at the University of Adalaide, graduating in 2025. Her childhood hobbies included Irish dance and ballet, which she has had little time for in recent years. She enjoys crochet, boardgames and keeping active either at the gym, pilates or on a long slow run. She also spends time with her fiancé, Dr Jackson and taking their Anatolian Shepherd, Leo, for walks. Dr Gypsy is still expanding her skillset as a veterinarian but has a strong background in shelter medicine and enjoys getting to know her patients and their families.re

Zara Glowinski
Nurse and Operations Coordinator
Hi, I’m Zara, one of the veterinary nurses behind Threadgold Veterinary Services. I’ve been working in the veterinary industry for the past five years, including nearly two years in emergency and critical care nursing. I’m also currently studying to become a veterinarian, continuing to expand my knowledge and passion for animal health and welfare.Within the business, I work primarily behind the scenes, helping manage the day-to-day operations and supporting everything that keeps our mobile service running smoothly. I enjoy being involved in the organisational side of the industry just as much as the clinical side, and love helping create a positive experience for both clients and their pets. Outside of work and study, I have a menagerie of animals at home, so life is always busy, animal-filled, and entertaining!
Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, both professionally and personally.

Josh Burlison
With over 10 years of experience in cat rescue and 5 years working as a veterinary nurse, I’m passionate about animal health, welfare, and making sure every animal gets the care and kindness they deserve. My love for animals extends beyond work too. At home I live with my wife and child, along with our two dogs and several cats, so life is always a little chaotic and furry. I take pride in always putting the needs of the animal first and providing compassionate, high-quality care. Outside of work, I’m a big fan of good food, relaxing with video games, and spending time with my family. My lifelong love for animals continues to drive my commitment to improving their welfare and enriching their lives.
